Sarah & Wilson // The repulse bay // wedding day

I was absolutely thrilled when I got an inquiry from Sarah last year with a link to their gorgeous engagement session by Marianne Taylor. Marianne Taylor was chosen as the national winner for Best Wedding Photographer at The Wedding Industry Awards. I had been following her Flickr for a long time. Her works always inspire me!!

It was my great privilege to be a part of their wedding. They are so sweet individually and even sweeter together. They are so perfect for each other and I am so happy to have met them. I love all the details and decorations. Sarah (designer at Cath Kidston) is very creative. She made her wedding so personal and lots of hand-crafted details. It is one of my favorite wedding of this year.

JESSICA & YU // Maternity session // Film

I once again had the pleasure of working with this incredible couple.  I shot Jessica & Yu’s wedding back in 2011.  It is such an honour to get to photograph them again. Not much changes–(expect for a new baby and all). They are just as photogenic as ever and helped me create these fun, vibrant images with their sparkling personalities and hospitality.  I really hope I will be vising over and over in the years to come. Congratulations again!

All photos shot with: CONTAX 645, Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm F2 T* & KODAK PORTRA 400

Octine & Alvin // pre-wedding // France Paris Provins

I was super excited when Octine & Alvin booked me to take their engagement photo in Paris because I’ve never been there before. we spent 2 days for the photo shoot to fit in all their favourite locations. Day 1, we went to all the tourist sites like The Eiffel Tower Musée du Louvre…etc. Day 2, we went to Provins. It is a small old town. One hour away from Paris by train. It was all worth it to shoot in this beautiful location. Congrats again, Octine & Alvin!!

Janice & Calvin // Fine art book

This is another beautiful photo book I designed recently. Thanks Janice & Calvin for putting trust in me. I had made only one design version of the book and then they confirmed it right away.

This book was printed in USA, Hand-bound and encased in fine materials, my albums open out flat with an almost invisible crease, so you can showcase your very best engagement photo two pages. Each spread is about 2 mm thick matte fine art paper glued back-to-back. I love the quality a lot. This book is the best FINE ART BOOK you’ll find.
